Residential Project
Set in the heart of North Leeds, this client’s home has seen generations of their family grow. It was time for a refresh now the children have moved out and have families of their own. The perfect space for just them and their gorgeous dog, Breeze.
BRIEF
As a sociable home, the client wanted an island space where family could gather while cooking. They were looking for a contemporary design that perfectly contrasted the adjoining grand entrance hall lined with traditional wood panelling. It was important to create a harmonious, warm, and modern space.
DESIGN
Central to the design is the light polished island, highlighted by the SLX profiles with radius end panels to further exaggerate the lighting profile. Considered use of lighting creates an atmospheric backdrop that complements the neutral colour palette. The large pan drawers on the back of the island maximise storage while looking seamless.
PROJECT FEATURES
This project features SieMatic SLX furniture in Stone Grey and Terra Larix with XTone ‘Glem white polished’ sintered stone worktops and backsplash, Spekva Oak breakfast bar and dining table, Miele appliances, BORA cooktop & extraction, Quooker boiling water tap.
